張貼人：Admin ╱ 公告日期：2014-03-18去年國科會/中研院跟EMBO簽約，讓台灣的科學家能夠享有跟歐盟會員國同等的權利，可惜到目前為止，大家還沒有充分利用這樣的機會。以下為相關說明，敬請把握機會：
1. EMBO Short-Term Fellowships （包含機票與生活費）
a. Scientists from Taiwanese institutes can apply for short-term fellowships for periods between 2 weeks and 3 months to carry out a project in a laboratory in an EMBC Member State institute.
b. Scientists located in EMBC Member States’ institutes can apply for short-term fellowships for periods between 2 weeks and 3 months to carry out a project in a laboratory in a Taiwanese institute.
l 博士生、博士後、老師（獲得PhD十年內）都可以申請，通過率不低，而且隨時可以申請，但2012台灣只有一位申請（通過），2013無人申請。請把握機會！！！
2. EMBO Long-Term Fellowships (2 year post-doctoral fellowships) for researchers
a. From Taiwanese institutes to EMBC Member States’ institutes.
b. From EMBC Member States’ institutes to Taiwanese institutes.
l 申請資格：獲得PhD 2年內
l Very competitive. 但提供非常好的機會至國外學習，年輕傑出的學者應該嘗試申請！
3. Travel stipends
Travel stipends to be available for selected participants from Taiwanese institutions attending EMBO Courses and Workshops in Europe and The EMBO Meeting and for European participants at EMBO Courses and Workshops hosted by Taiwanese institutes.
l 補助旅費，不含生活費及註冊費
l 博士生、博士後，請把握機會申請！！！
4. EMBO Courses and Workshops
Scientists can apply for funding and support of courses, workshops or conferences, which would be hosted by a Taiwanese institute.
l 2012年在中研院舉辦「Logic of Regulatory Circuits」，2013無人申請。
l EMBO出 up to 20000 Euro，請把握機會！！！
5. Funded Lectures
a. EMBO Plenary Lecture: International meetings hosted by Taiwanese institutes can apply for support of a keynote lecture given by an EMBO Member.
b. Lecture by an EMBO Young Investigator: International meetings hosted by Taiwanese institutes can apply for support of an EMBO Young Investigator as a speaker.
c. EMBO Global Exchange Lecture Series: Lecture series by EMBO Members and EMBO Young Investigators in Taiwanese institutes, or by leading scientists from Taiwanese institutes in European Institutes
l 在台灣舉辦的國際會議，可以邀請EMBO Member or Young Investigator 為講員，EMBO可以出錢。請多利用。
6. EMBO Young Investigator Programme
l Eligibility: Within 40 yr old. Have been an independent group leader for at least one and not more than four years on 1 January in the year of application.
l A key aspect of the programme is networking. EMBO Young Investigators benefit from a vibrant and broad network of over 300 scientists, made up of current and former Young Investigators, and recipients of an EMBO Installation Grant.
7. Advice from EMBO Members
In addition to assessing applications from those interested in being involved in the above activities, EMBO is available to provide advice and a European view of:
- funding / assessment of life science research institutes;
- implementing programmes similar to those of EMBO;
- policy matters.
